The rest of the output set from the same acquisition.
Beyond QSM and FGATIR, the same STAGE scan reconstructs a full complementary output set — T1-weighted and enhanced T1-weighted images, T2-weighted images, T1, proton density (PD), R2* and T2* maps, MR angiography (MRA), simulated dual-inversion-recovery (DIR) contrasts for white matter, gray matter and CSF, SWI, and maximum-intensity-projection (MIP) renderings of QSM and SWI — co-registered, in physical units where applicable, and ready for PACS alongside the flagship outputs.
T1-weighted (T1w) image
The familiar qualitative anatomical contrast radiologists already read, reconstructed from the same acquisition as every quantitative STAGE output.
Enhanced T1-weighted (T1wE) image
An algorithmically enhanced T1-weighted reconstruction, one of the outputs named in STAGE's FDA clearance.
T2-weighted (T2w) image
The complementary qualitative contrast read alongside T1w for conventional anatomical review.
T1 map
Longitudinal relaxation time in physical units (milliseconds), supporting tissue characterization independent of scanner gain or coil sensitivity.
Proton density (PD) map
Quantifies mobile hydrogen content per unit volume — a measure of tissue water and macromolecular content, co-registered with every other STAGE output.
R2* map
An iron-sensitive relaxation-rate map, a second independent physical measure alongside QSM.
T2* map
A complementary relaxation-rate map, useful for comparing structures across time points and patients.
SWI
Susceptibility-weighted imaging, computed from the same phase and magnitude data as QSM — familiar contrast for microbleeds and venous structures.
SWI, maximum-intensity projection (SWI-MIP)
A maximum-intensity projection of the SWI output, useful for reviewing microbleeds and venous structures across a volume at a glance.
QSM, maximum-intensity projection (QSM-MIP)
A maximum-intensity projection of the QSM map, useful for reviewing susceptibility structures across a volume at a glance.
MR angiography (MRA)
Vascular visualization reconstructed from the same acquisition, without a dedicated angiographic sequence.
Simulated DIR — white matter (DIRWM)
A simulated dual-inversion-recovery contrast emphasizing white matter, generated without an added inversion-recovery scan.
Simulated DIR — gray matter (DIRGM)
The gray-matter-emphasizing counterpart to DIRWM, from the same simulated dual-inversion-recovery approach.
Simulated DIR — CSF (DIRCSF)
The CSF-emphasizing counterpart, completing the simulated dual-inversion-recovery set.
